Randal Dietrich is the Executive Director of the Minnesota Military Museum (Little Falls, MN). An experienced museum professional, Dietrich spent spent ten years at the Minnesota Historical Society with responsibilities that were often military-related. He led the Society’s WWI Centennial initiative, its Civil War Sesquicentennial initiative, and its Greatest Generation Project, all of which included a major exhibition, publications and related programs. As Minnesota’s representative to the National WWI Centennial Commission, Dietrich is well-versed on veteran issues through his long-term participation on the United Veterans Legislative Council and a variety of veteran initiatives statewide.
