Main gallery
From Hubert Humphrey’s snowmobile to the impressive 32-piece one-person band called the Nelsonian, our Main Gallery showcases interesting pieces of Wright County History.
The latest exhibit is Six Feet Under, which explores the business of death and dying in Wright County.
Hands on History gallery
This gallery is temporarily closed for renovations.
The Hands On History Gallery is just that - a place where you can touch and experience history. Share the mysteries of old telephone technology with those too young to remember a rotary dial. Sit in a wooden desk in the one-room schoolhouse. Learn how to weave using a loom. And more!
This gallery is also home to our annual Festival of Trees. The festival runs December through the first week of January each year and features beautiful trees decorated by clubs, businesses, and individuals from around the county.
