The Wright County Historical Society has collected the names and information of the Civil War Veterans in Wright County. This spreadsheet is meant as an informational tool for viewers and ask that you not reproduce in its entirety without explicit permission from WCHS. While vast in its information, this material is not complete, nor completely confirmed. Qualifications to be in the Registry:

  1. Must have served in the Civil War. There are notes if the service could not be verified.

  2. Lived in Wright County, for any length of time, at any time.       

  3. Period of enlistment, most sources use the mustering in and out dates.

Additional Information by Row:

  1. Gray areas denote missing information.

  2. Row J: Source of Soldier’s name.

  3. Row K: Notes pertaining to the soldiers condition during or after the war.

  4. Row L: Source for Row K information.

  5. Rows M and N are death and burial information.
